What’s not to love about Art Deco?
I recently visited Miami and fell in love with this luxurious style and developed a taste for beautiful statement pieces.
To me, it has it all.
Glamour, Luxury, Opulence and sophistication with the added bonus of remaining timeless and classic.
When you walk into a room where the Interiors are influenced by Art Deco, you instantly feel like you’ve walked into a stylish hotel lobby.
Whilst Art Deco started all the way back in the 1920’s, it is still trending today. It’s easy to see why – It’s a style which adapts with the times.
In particular, I personally love the monochromatic palettes teamed with Gold and Silver accents. It also makes updating interiors a heck of a lot easier as you can swap out accessories when trends change.

One of my all-time favourite colour combinations has to be ‘Black and Gold’ – Why you ask? Well, because when paired together they are a timeless and opulent duo. The black adds depth, drama and richness. The gold adds opulence and warmth.
Can we just talk about those iconic geometric lines for a second? See how they add another dimension to the style? I like the way the curved lines are mixed with the straight lines to create sophistication.
I’m also partial to a decadent mirror. Art Deco is known for its sunburst mirrors and I have to say I adore how mesmerising these look.
Below, I’ve pulled together what I believe is a well-balanced look which would work well if you had neutral walls to really make the accessories and interiors pop.
- Heathfield & Co Avelin Gold Table Lamp Left
This stunning table lamp features a beautiful golden base contrasted with Black. The result? Sleek and stylish.
- Renwil Arizona Mirror
I love how elegant and delicate this looks. Bound to get lots of compliments
- Deco Round Mirror Tray
I would personally place this on a lavish and velvety ottoman… with some cocktail glasses.
- Gold Sequin Pillow
To break up all the statement pieces, this pillow with gold sequin detail could be used to soften the look.
- Eichholtz Emilio Chair
I am a huge fan of this black velvet lounge chair with the gold frame from Eichholtz. I must admit, I haven’t seen a lot of people feature black chairs in their living room which makes it all the more appealing for me
- Eichholtz Connor Console Table – Gold
This gold console table is probably intended for an entrance or hallway but I personally use it in the lounge where it would get maximum visibility.
- Gold Sequin Pillow
And there you have it, a lust list of lavish Art-Deco Inspired Interiors.
Would you try out this style in any part of your home? Let me know in the comments.
